CHICAGO -- Federal immigration authorities have arrested 49 men in a sweep targeting illegal immigrants and gangs. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says the four-day operation focused in Chicago's north suburbs. Those arrested are accused of crimes including burglary and drug possession.

The article sounds like there was only one immigrant arrested, and 47 criminal trespassers, aka illegal aliens.

Well it's a beginning.
I have nothing against legal immigrants coming to America to make a better life for them and their families. That is what America is built on.
Illegals take away money and services that legal citizens pay for.
Believe me I know. We pay a high tax rate in CA because of the illegals, hired by businesses who don't pay for medical insurance or any other cost except wages.
I was in a dispute with an illegal and got into a fight on the Fourth of July.
He was waving his Mexican flag and shouting Viva Mexico on our independence day.
I told him to take his flag and stuff it where the sun didn't shine.
This was Americas independence day.
We got in a fight and I busted my knuckle and his front teeth.
I was detained until witnesses explained I fought in self defense.
He was arrested and taken to the hospital for medical care. I had to pay or my own medical care.
It's time the crap ends.

  ...except it pretty much sounds like you were spoiling for a fight, so you're probably lucky you didn't get thrown in jail for at least being drunk in public.

    No I wasn't spoiling for a fight. If I was it would have happened earlier.
    When some illegal clown waves his flag in my face on Americas independence day. It gets my temper up.
    To many good men and women including Hispanics have died to keep this country free, for me to allow some ignorant know nothing blow hard to wave his flag in my country.
    If you can't understand that, I feel sorry for you.
    It has nothing to do with his being Mexican.
    It has everything to do with disrespecting our country and those who gave their all to make it great.

Only 49? They sure didn't try very hard. Maybe I should have told them where they could found at least 200. Guess they missed the two parking lots belonging to Kmart, and that other Chinese purveyor.
