US foreign policy cannot begin and end with Iraq, warns Obama »
Posted By monicachenoa 2 months, 4 weeks ago in NewsIn his most ambitious foreign policy speech to date, Barack Obama robustly defended his stance on Iraq yesterday, accusing the Bush administration of pursuing a "single-minded" foreign policy that has cost thousands of lives, tarnished America's image and emptied the nation's coffers.

His orientation is difficult to contest on several levels. If carried forth in practice it would restore confidence in many places at once - both foreign and domestic.
As a preemptive gesture to the McCain hawks who will probably wish to discredit Obama's remarks on the grounds of "cut and run" and any number of other ideological red herrings, he probably wouldn't have said what he did if there had not been some significant CFR backing for these statements... Anyone here at Propellor have the inside track on CFR policy? If so, please spill your beans. The rest of us a starving for information...

As afar as I'm concerned, these remarks lead to further questions regarding -- ahhh beans!!! Glorious refried beans. That's just about all we have left after Bush II's slaying of the American Golden Goose. A few already well-heeled Republican cronies seem to be dining and living high off the hog these days - while the rest of us find fewer and fewer eggs in our Easter Baskets... Obama could stick the fork much deeper into an elephant size pig if he chose. Perhaps this speech is just and entree. I sincerely hope so - though I expect that moderation and modesty are his present main course... More to come? We shall know in November if there is enough political will left over to roast old Jumbo in its own juices... Will Dumbo II fly to Paraguay if a Democrat Congress comes after him with knives forks and sppons raised aloft? Tune in next year for the thrilling climax to the action packed cartoon adventure series - "FrankenDumbo and the Temple of Economic Gloom and Doom".

The Council of Foreign Relations is the promotional arm of the ruling elite in this country. Their sole aim is a new world order controlled by a world government and the diminished sovereignty of nation states. They seek to accomplish their goals through control of the media, educational institutions, and the world banks.
The formation of the United Nations and more recently the EEU are prime examples. Closer to home, they advocate open borders, unlimited immigration and lopsided trade policies, measures to eliminate nationalism all to the detriment of this country.
Those members who are part of the academic elite pose as experts and write supposed scholarly pieces expounding their one world social order. This propaganda in then willingly disseminated by their media members.
Does this sound treasonous? Are we being paranoid to worry about what appears to be a giant conspiracy? If the threat is real, then it's not paranoia. Look at the evidence around you.

that covers all bases - can't go wrong or make a commitment with that statement.
Mr Obama says that, as president, he would completely revamp America's approach to the world by dealing with the challenges of al-Qai'da terrorism, nuclear proliferation, energy security as well as climate change.
I'm not sure what revamp means.

Well, as a footnote, bushie said he would leave Iraq if asked to do so by the Iraqis. Just another of his lies?
Perhaps it is too early to say so openly, but the real problem is that America cannot afford the military imperialism that it has been pursuing over the last century and especially since Truman made enormous errors after WWII (the start of the secret "national security state" and of zionist treason in our government).
Like the British before us, it is now time to decide between military empire and democracy. The sooner we abandon anti-american imperialism, the less traumatic the adjustment will be.

One has to be a israel-first zionist to make such statements. This article contains good advice about what Americans should do with israel-firsters in our country.
Turning the Tables on the Israel-Firsters
Politics รข;; American Israel-firsters have long since dropped any pretense of loyalty to the US. They have moved brazenly into the Israel first, last, and always camp. Americans must now begin taking their country back. As long as the Israel-firsters can define the limits of acceptable public discourse, Americans are on their way to the slaughter.
