if mccain wants a principled way to exit, this is it. it sounds better than "exhaustion," or "forgetful."
on the other hand, no one in the DOJ appears to be very interested in law these days, so nothing will happen because of this. what's another law?

Interesting that the professor skips over the fact that Panama was under US jurisdiction when McCain was born there. What some courts in some cases have previously decided is irrelevant if the fact pattern does not match McCain's. If being born in a territory under US jurisdiction fills the bill, then there's no issue.

Well, its the same laws that cover guantanamo, where according to some, US laws like citizenship and habeus corpus do NOT apply.
Kinda a catch 22.
And THAT is a book everyone should read.
