Obviously "states' rights" means nothing to McCain... another "Republican" that doesn't share GOP values unless there's something in it for him.

I can't get into too much opinion because I put out a news publication that is nonpartisan. But I think you're probably right that the principle of states rights often goes out the window when Republicans think it's inconvenient.
