Jessica Lynch, meet Ingrid Betancourt...
Whilst I'm thrilled for those who have been rescued, it's difficult to overlook the following:
Of all the places in the world, McCain is visiting Colombia on the same day, just prior to the 4th of July, accompanied by a lobbyist with Colombian interests.
I'm just sayin'...
G*D BLESS America..."Mission accomplished"
ugh.

You're right. It was planned for him to be there. It's coming out that the US government was 'involved' in their being rescued (whether or not that's true, and not the Colombian govt. doing bush boy a favor in return for trade agreements remains to be seen), but McCain was 'planted' there to make him somehow look involved in the process. Next thing we'll be hearing is that bush 'consulted' with McCain on how to get them released, LOL! Lordy, lordy. They are soooo transparent, those CONS.

I really doubt everything happened the way they say it, but I really don't think of an alliance between the colombian government and the FARCs (specially since Uribe's father was killed by them). My bet is that they don't really want to tell how they did it because they plan to use the same tactic again, which kind of make much more sense than to reveal to your enemy, (who has more people kidnaped) your winning strategy.

She says that she's the candidate of change and that her lack of experience is a plus.

it was a brilliant grab--columbian troops with our special ops totally infiltrated FARQ--as soon as the hostages left the high fives from the che-tshirts stopped and they turned their guns on FARQ--rounding up a whole bunch of them and putting them now totally off balance..looking for the rats inside..not trusting all of their own..brilliant..a major set-back for a bloodthirsty ruthless bunch of narco-terrorists that was 25 years in the making--and will damage them for years to come--we should be doing this in iran..hmm wait a minute...

Yeah the last time you dumb asses covertly f_cked with Iran, a democratically elected government was overthrown and the rest is history. White people, I guess your racial motto is "Because we can" Tell me dumb ass, what allies do we have in Iran (or for you rednecks I-Ran) that would help topple the Ayatollahs (not Mullahs for you dumb sons of bitches)?
