    From the article:

    > Hirsch Goodman, senior research associate at the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies in Tel Aviv, said "It would be a total act of folly and I don't believe that Israel intends to do itâ;¦"

    > HaLevy, the former Mossad head, said an Israeli attack would be a last resort. "This option of last resorts speaks not only to the adversaries of Iran but to Iran itself," he said.

This is what I've explained on this forum for some time. Israel will not strike Iran unless Iran will leave Israel no other option.

One may compare the situation with the standoff in May, 1967 when Gamal Abdel Nasser prepared to "push Israel into the sea". The Egyptian President left Israel no other option then.

We should hope that the Iranian President is smarter than his late Egyptian collegue.
