  "The Netherlands, with a less criminally punitive approach to cannabis use than the U.S., has experienced lower levels of use, particularly among younger adults."

    Blame it all on the left, doesn't that ever get old? Liberals make mistakes, but are far more likely to acknowledge them and deal with the consequences than these modern day so-called conservatives whose politics are an extension of the basic lack of responsibility they wallow in.

      That impulse, were it true, runs counter to liberal culture. First of all, liberals don't even acknowledge right and wrong, except in terms of their own ideology and expediencies. Liberals oppose accountability, and champion criminals over victims.

      There was a time when a man was expected to be accountable for any child he fathered. Liberals destroyed that.

      There was a time when a woman was responsible for keeping her knees together or accepting the consequence. Liberals destroyed that.

      There was a time when corporal punishment for children was due course. Now conscientious parents have to first remove their children from public view before imposing consequences of bad behavior. Liberals did that.

      Children were held to high expectations. Now we must ignore their failure to achieve and concern ourselves only with their self esteem.

      After 9/11, only liberals were calling upon Americans to "understand" the terrorists. Conservatives wanted their heads on a platter.

        100% correct. We are the laughing stock of the world. We urge foreign governments to curb production of drugs but the only thing that makes that production profitable is that we refuse to crack down on our junkies. Since the 1960's, very few people have taught their children that NO means NO, that there are lines that you do not cross. Economics 101 says that if there is a demand for something and you try to restrict the supply, you will create a black market. The libs want to remove the restrictions. The right thing to do is to squash the demand.
