It's shameful and disgusting for hospital employees to allow this to happen. I blame everyone from the guard all the way up to the CEO of the hospital. They should have enough staff to cover the people that come into the Emergency Room, and since there was video of this woman falling on the floor, someone should have been watching the tapes and ordered help to be sent to her. Instead a guard sat on his buttox. People in the ER, mentally ill or not, did nothing. The person in charge of the ER did nothing, and there is a person in charge in Emergency Rooms. I know because I worked in ER for years. Emergency rooms take the most seriously ill people in for care first. The people/patients in the ER room were able to sit up straight on their own, so the lady that fell over should have been considered the most severely ill and should have been taken in IMMEDIATELY to be seen by a doctor. None of this surprises me. Been treated this way in ER myself. Hospitals SHAME ON YOU. DO SOMETHING!!
