"Speculation has risen since a U.S. newspaper reported this month that Israel had practiced a strike against the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities, which the West suspects form part of a covert weapons programme. Iran denies the charge."
"Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Israel was still dealing with the consequences of its 2006 war with Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon and was also suffering a "crisis of deepening illegitimacy" in the Middle East region."
"That's why we do not see the Zionist regime in a situation in which they would want to engage in such adventurism," he said when asked about the possibility of an Israeli attack."
"They know full well what the consequences of such an act would be," Mottaki told reporters.

Can you elaborate on this please? I'm interested to know WHAT Israel has little to no chance of ever accomplishing but it hopes to accomplish by dragging the US into the conflict and HOW will Israel (and/or the US) benefit from this accomplishment.
That way it's just mongrel americans, not the "children of zion", who will be dying..
In addition, I'm interested to know HOW did you arrive to a conclusion that the "children of zion" were interested to "accomplish" something that can only be qualified as mass suicide? Obviously, even YOU agree that in all previous conflicts between Israel and its neighbors it were the "children of zion" who were dying, not mongrel Americans.

Actually, Iran is quite vulnerable to attack. It has one oil refinery and port facilities that could easy be disabled. Their anti-semetic public boasts seem more like whistling in the dark than anything.

I'm sure they will not make the same errors as the conflict between Israel and Iran is completely different from the conflict between Israel and Lebanon. The former is a conflict between TWO STATES. The latter is a conflict between a STATE AND A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION that usurped a state and used its infrastructure and its citizens as shields.

Wrong.
You see, Israel will attack Iran only if no other option is left. Iran, on the other hand, will attack Israel when it will see an opportunity to do it.
To understand it better you can consideer the following example: a cop will shoot someone only if there is no other option to prevent that guy from committing a crime. A mad murderer will shoot someone when he can do it. Therefore, it is NOT FAIR to demand that both should be allowed to carry guns.

But the difference here is that a cop is a representative of the law. Is Israel some kind of cop nation? I certainly don't like the regimen of Iran, but I think it's thrteats aganist Israel are a politic way to keep themselves in power, not so much that they will do it because they already know the consequences of it. Just like the daily rants of Hussein and Castro aganist the US.

Except that we don't really have to attack Israel. Just stop babysitting the arrogant whiners, stop supporting them, stop sending them money,and stop defending them when they steal land from and start wars with their neighbors and they will be overrun like a cluster of spiders on an anthill of arabs.

Thanks for the link.
The article lists a $30 billion commitment for US MILITARY aid to Israel, along with $20 billion for Saudi Arabia, $13 billion for Egypt, and $20 billion for "other Gulf states."
So the resident geniuses on the Potomac think the way to assure peace in the region is to pump at least $83 billion in weaponry into the area AND to make sure that BOTH Israeli and Arab are well-armed. How sophisticated can we get?
I think a better idea would be to cut off all military aid to every nation in that area, and to IMPOSE CRIPPLING SANCTIONS ON ANY NATION WHICH ATTEMPTS TO DEVELOP OR HAS DEVELOPED NUCLEAR CAPABILITY.
Any nation. All nations.
Enough is enough. Jihadis will kill their perceived enemies without batting an eye. Zionists will do the same. They both act against the interests of our nation, and there is no reason we should tolerate either of them any longer.

Of course. Considering that there are 60 Arabs for every Jew and that these Arabs own 500 (FIVE HUNDRED!) times larger territory this will assure that Israel will be destroyed even if every Jew will kill 10 Arabs prior to being killed himself.

Apparently, 'nikkibabe' and other "pro-Palestinians" believe that the Arabs in general and Palestinian Arabs in particular have a genetic defect that turns them into violent infantile morons unable to live in peace. Such genetic defect would make it impossible for the Arabs to learn to live together peacefully and would make it reasonable for all normal humans to relocate from the area.
