Why not? Americans and Iraqis are still dying because of Bush's lies. Our military and economy are still ruined. Why shouldn't we talk about this "$hit" again?

"Why not? Americans and Iraqis are still dying because of Bush's lies"
Pelosi wants no part of it because then she and Kerry and a lot of other Democrats would be exposed for their part in the war lead up. Imagine them trying to say that Bush lied to them when it is easily shown that they were talking about Saddam's WMD's from 1995 till after the invasion.

"Pelosi wants no part of it because then she and Kerry and a lot of other Democrats would be exposed for their part in the war lead up."
--You have an interesting imagination but none of what you say mitigates the fact that when Democrats and Republicans agreed to allow Bush to disarm Iraq, they didn't agree to anything like what this horrific three-hour tour has morphed into over the course of 5 years. THAT is the issue you cons fail to get through your thick skulls. No one, neither Democrat nor Republican authorized Bush to invade Iraq, AND destroy the country in a way that it would ultimately be necessary to stay there indefinitely and spend trillions of dollars giving the Middle East a surprise makeover. You cons love regurgitating CRAP about what "everyone knew" and what "everyone thought." No sane person would have given Bush the green light to do any of that and cons know this. No way, Jose. ;-(

This guy is a gutsy little booger! He doesn't appear to follow any lock-step party doctrine and doesn't seem to be a "yes man." He's a Democrat for sure, but one who questions all policy and decisions. A renegade? No. A clear thinker? Seems to be. Hears the music of the Democrats, but marches to his own drum.
I hope there's a spot for him in the next administration.
Recall, if you will, that Lincoln actively sought out his opponents and those with divergent viewpoints and INCLUDED them in his administration. When his administration came to a consensus, it was a STRONG consensus tempered in the crucible of opposition and debate.
Future administrations would be wise to emulate him.

Were I the President, I'd find room for him at the very next Supreme Court Justice vacancy.
His drive, his couragenousness, and his desire to see justice done despite the odds, are exactly the qualities needed in a court dominated by justices who want only to avoid rocking the business-political status quo.
And while Secretary of State wouldn't be a stretch for Kucinich's talent, I'm guessing that spot's already been offered to someone else.

Hey,LibsR:
Thanks for pointing out the historical errors in the abovec post. You've proven you have the ability and the will to point out the errors in other's reasoning.
If you could only do that with politics, levelling an equally valid and harsh eye upon both Dems and Reps, pointing out the errors of both, joining in on occasion with the Dems and pointing out occasionally when the Reps are wrong...
Then you may do a real service to the Propeller community at large.

This is hilarious. Everybody in the west was saying the same thing. The Clinton administration was saying the same thing. The Democrats and Republicans were saying the same thing. Bush fooled the world by lying.
Why can't Kucinich and rabid Libs all remember history. Bush was saying what the world was but he was lying. Real astute.

I'm sure it's hilarioius as hell to the families of the 4000 soldiers (or the countless Iraqis who have lost innocent family members). If Everybody was saying the same thing why was it so hard to get the UN on board with military action? Clinton never once said he would invade and occupy Iraq to remove Saddam from power. Even the President father publish his rationale for not removing Saddam.
Rice and Powell both stated in 2001 Iraq was no threat and had no WMD production facilities.
Bush certainly didn't fool the world as world opinion showed. However the American (liberal) media sure helped by parroting each of the administrations false assertions about the threat Iraq, a country that had been plagued by two costly wars, and 11 year of crippling sanctions, posed to the worlds remaining superpower. Anyone in America calling the Bush Administration out on the obvious lies was proclaimed a near traitor and/or terrorist sympathizer.

When did Congress agree to fund the destruction and rebuilding of the Middle East from scratch? When did they agree we were going to spend several trillion dollars and stay there indefinitely? Where is that spelled out in the agreement, Endo?

LOL...hammy, were you wingers concerned about your elected officials wasting time and money when you found out Iraq was gonna cost WAY the hell more than the 200 billion dollars originally estimated? Nope. What about when the GOP was barging into the personal matters of the Schiavo family for weeks on end? Exactly. What about when Bush was burning up gas flying around the country trying to shove his ridiculous SS reform ideas down America's throat? Not then either, huh? Um, what about in Nov 2004. Er...Non.
So basically you're really just expelling a lot of hot offensive gas over something that you DID NOT CARE ABOUT when Republicans were in charge. That's called hypocrisy and supporting party over country (aka treason).

No one can ever be the lifetime chimp and chump that George Bush has been. Everything that he has been involved with has been a failure and he is always going top be nothing less than daddy's little idiot.
Only those who still support him, without being able to claim any good accomplishments after 7 1/2 long years are bigger chimps.

Been doing what? Being in denial!
Tell you what, Tangly:
If Barack backs every Democratic spending bill for six years without a veto, even though it increases the deficit by an amount equal to what the Bush and Repub Congress did from 2000 through 2006 --
If Barack invades a country despite CIA and DIA reports claiming they pose no real threat --
If Barack angers every one of our allies (the few we have left) by taking a "my way or the highway, take it or leave it, black or white, you're either with us or agin' us" attitude --
If Barack creates more signing statements, effectively denying even Repub-passed laws by limiting or changing how he'll interpret them, than all other Presidents combined --
If Barack chooses to ram anti-Constitutional laws down our throats --
Then, Tangly, THEN, you have my permission to call him any damn thing you want.
Until then, open up your eyes and see what a fiasco this administration has been, in every way, shape and form.

Actually what you have been doing is defending any attempt to expect Bush to do anything for our country.
What you HAVE been doing is assisting every effort to permit the nation's leader to lead us right into the shiiter.
And what's worse mis you still won't admit how bad he has been, so we expect nothing from you. Do what you want, but don't expect much respect here. Decency yes..but respect, you have to earn.

tang, Old Buddy, I think "The Chimp" is gonna have to stick on W, based on both behavior and appearance. It doesn't fit McCain at all. Maybe "Ditto". Or I kinda like "Old Fool" (as in "There's no fool like an...") if enough of us could get the Hepburn voice down right. As for Obama, give Baby Boy a chance. He's WAAYYY to suave to ever be a monkey of any sort. If he can't do any better than the present administration, you can RELY on me to come up with something. I don't like it when Republicans embarrass the nation, but I will not abide a Democrat who does. LOL.

Oh, tangy...You're such a jester --pretending you can't comprehend why referring to Bush or McCain as a "chimp" doesn't have the same racial overtones as it would for Obama. I guess you've forgotten why John McCain is what you're stuck with for a Presidential nominee. If only noose worshipping George "Macacawitz" Allen had kept his racist mouth SHUT, he'd probably be in McCain's place. Oh well... You got a guy who didn't "get" Martin Luther King's message so there's really not THAT much of a difference, after all, huh? ;-(

I still don't believe the votes for impeachment are there.
In any case, Bush will be the 'Roman Polanski" of presidents. After leaving office and being brought up on war criminal charges, he will live in exile avoiding extradition and trial. He'll have tons of money, and probably won't miss this country he has trashed even a little bit. The Bush legacy of a 10 trillion national debt and thousands of physically and mentally damaged vets will be as difficult for future administrations to deal with as will all the other disasters Bush and Cheney have planned and executed. Civil action against these thugs will be fruitless since their billions will be safely stashed away in Bahrain and South America.

Man oh man; Special K had to do something to be remembered by. Hey but if it's true let's get it rolling, tomorrow. Will the brave dems actually have what it takes to do more than posture for the up coming election?
Remember, the Republicans weren't skert and actually went through the process. I'll bet a nanner to a dolla that the Dems will not have what it takes to do more than beat their chest and use this action in campaign adds.
Let's see 6 months left and the brave K has put forth something that is used more as extra ammo for their Golden One to win in November. After all, who's going to want to vote for a party with articles of impeachment on record? Dang guys, you can't even come up with your own Ideas and have to steal them from Newt.

I like the idea of holding our politicians on BOTH side responsible, if Bush is Guilty I'll be right there with all you that hate him so much. Right now he's still innocent until you PROVE you accusations,,,,, you know accusations that are unproven as of yet. If your gonna talk the tough talk let's actually seem some action, the Democratic run House and Senate has done little more than Bloviate for 2 years.
AS I said, I like to see BOTH parties held accountable, so while your at it Denny, remember to finish off the guy with frozen money and Feinstein for lining her pockets with military money. Oh yeah, I'd also love for you to look into the carbon credit company that will rake in billions of dollars of payola that will not remove one nano-gram of stuff from the air.

Actually, even though the mainstream media has mostly ignored Ron Paul, he is still in the race and headed to the Republican National Convention. Lincoln, also ran against a "presumptive" nominee who had garnered over 2/3rds of the required delegates. But, Lincoln, like Ron Paul, had a large grassroots following and went to the Convention anyways. It ended up being a Brokered Convention and after voting Lincoln won the presidency! The presumptive nominee is just that, PRESUMPTIVE.

"All we need is for half the states to succeed or something equally implausible to make that happen and radically change the delegate count."
LOL, thanks for the laugh!
McCain has 800 bound delegates, the rest (1300, or so)are called soft delegates. If McCain doesn't get the required amount of delegates to vote for him in the first round of the Republican Convention, it becomes a brokered convention. Nothing implausible about that!

Good for you! Laughter is the best medicine! Have a chuckle on my behalf, I do not mind. I actually encourage it, for it allows debate. Unlike the powers that be that try to stifle debate.
Google "Council of Foreign Relations" and find the list of those who belong. Almost every major news media source belongs! Now let's look up Congressmen.....why, there"s Obama and McCain! Hillary too!
Ever wonder why Ron Paul never got a chance, why he was continually shut down over and over? Ever wonder how we ended up with these two bozos?
IF VOTING MADE A DIFFERENCE- THEY WOULDN'T LET US VOTE.
It is time for America to stand up and be heard! For if we continue with the status quo, we will all be singing ...

And since, believe it or not, I'm still registered as a Republican in CA, I receive all the RNC stuff in the mail. Just got their questionairre that they send out to assist with their platform. Really scary stuff! I also get a magazine called "Red County" which is sent out to Orange County registered republicans. Even scarier stuff.
One of the last questions was...Do you support the election of liberal Democrat candidates? I checked yes. That will explain to them all my other answers.
Bet they take me off their mailing list!

I literally cried when Reagan lost the nomination to Ford in 1976. I like Ron Paul and many of his positions, especially his sound money and limited government ideas, but he is very naive on foreign issues (yes, I've read "Manifesto"). Anyone who has studied the history of Lebanon can see what the Islamic plans are for the West.

And tell me something? Is NAFTA fair? (Yes I know the Clinton part of that equation and I'm also am very the Republican role so be careful how you answer...)
How about CAFTA? GATT? How about the Columbia trade deal your beloved President is trying to push through right now?

Actually no. Unemployment rates are still quite low in terms of historical precedents. This is the first time that I've heard of an economy with 5% unemployment and people are claiming that there is a recession. I think the real problem is that people are accustomed to extremely low inflation rates and recent price increases have come as a nasty shock to consumers.
