"Seeing as how we have been kicking al qeadas ass everywhere we find them, it should come as no surprise. Remeber, unlike hezbollah, aq has no national support. Thanks President Bush!"
Thanks for what? Not going after the perpetrators of 9/11? Causing a rise in terrorism and terrorists? Shoving money into the pockets of criminals and war profiteers?
Thanks for nothing. Or worse than nothing.

If the definition of terrorism is the threatening, targeting and destruction of civilian populations then the US and Israeli military would have to qualify as the greatest terrorist organizations in the world today.

I agree with your statement, chef. O'Reilly recently asked Dick Morris what question he should ask McCain and Morris said, "Ask him what he would do if Israel attacks Iraq before the November election?".
He went on to say he thought as soon as Netanyahu is elected, he will attack Iran.

I absolutely agree with your asessment. What Chetoff nor the writer mentioned is how Hezbollah came into being.
It was formed to resist the Israeli invasion of Lebanon back in the early 1980's. They were finally able to force the Israeli army out of Lebanon and were the only force to oppose Israel when they invaded this last time.
Maybe if Israel and their protector the United States would stop invading countries bringing death and destruction, then organizations like Hezbollah wouldn't need to exist.
Readers might also recall that Al-Qaeda also came into existence in a similar way. Osama Bin Laden, a staunch ally of the U S in Afghanistan threatened the U S that if they placed an Army base on Saudi soil he would declare war on America. We did and then he did. Thus 9/11.
Sometimes reality comes in bitter doses.
