This Monday we observe the 140th anniversary of Memorial Day for the USA, a day of high purpose set aside to remember those brave and gallant Americans who made the supreme sacrifice so that our nation might remain free.

    Being in the Navy, I would like to express my love for my veteran buddies that had form a camaraderie that I will never forget.

      To all the troopers and sailors throughout the centuries, I salute you and your sacrifice. Nothing much has ever changed though, still controlled by the rich and powerful. I suppose the alternative would be anarchy since the little people can't control their base desires and the 7 deadly sins. So isn't it wonderful that we have the politicians to tell us when to get up, go to bed, what to eat, who to like and who to hate and kill. It's a groovy thing being a dolt. I don't remember much about being in the Army in the early 70's., since I kept my mind in a state of numbness during those years. Thank God for alcohol and pot.
