Not to worry! The Pelosi's House of representatives has the answer!!

House passes bill to sue OPEC over oil prices

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved legislation on Tuesday allowing the Justice Department to sue OPEC members for limiting oil supplies and working together to set crude prices

Anyone want to bet what the OPEC response will be?

I'll put my money on reduce oil production

Does anyone in Congress EVER consider the possible consequences of their actions or are they only concerned about trying to convince the public that they are doing SOMETHING??

Wonder if OPEC could turn this around and sue the US for refusing to drill here - where we know there is oil?

You mean like starting a war in a country that had nothing to do with the event you're supposedly " doing something" about? One that results in serious fears over oil supply from the ME due to the conflict? Thus raising prices to an all time high. While all the families who are heavily involved in Big Oil sit in office?

Seems like *they* thought about the possible consequences of their actions ($$$) and went ahead.

Yeah this suit is halarious!

I used to be a democrat until comatose Pelosi got in.

What a do nothing congress. They don't really have any power but comon.

Why don't they take away the oil subsidies?

Heh the bankers won't let them.

Why isn't anybody addressing the issue of trading oil as a commodity on the Mercantile exchange. The oil prices seem to rise daily on reports of POSSIBLE shortages, POSSIBLE oil disruptions, etc. I have yet to stand in a gas line or be refused as much gasoline as I want. This has been going on since Katrina. Back in the 70's when OPEC raised the price of oil, there was almost no commodity trading of oil. This time, it's not the OPEC nations raising the prices. Re-regulate oil, stop speculation trading and the prices will come down dramatically. The only shortage in oil is what is being shorted on the stock exchange.

I'M sure this was more of a rhetorical question right?

This makes so much sense but you're one of the only people that have said it. you obviously know what the scoop is.

We can't blame opec or the president or congress as they really have no power.

The real power..the international bankers are staging a recession here to send currency and oil to Asia. They will try to build up a 3rd economic region.

They have the EU, are getting us into the NAU and soon will have AU.

One world Government, with the rockefellers at the top.
