News – The California Supreme Court has overturned a gay marriage ban in a ruling that would make the nation's largest state the second one to allow gay and lesbian weddings.

"A step forward.

The Supreme Court did not create any new law.

They simply ruled to uphold the higher law against discrimination in any form - including discrimination due to sexual orientation.

California, as always leads the way, although we seriously lag behind most other Western countries in upholding the basic rights of all persons, including persons who are born predisposed to preferring same-sex life partners.

Next - the basic right to universal health care..."
