It's shameful that countries, including the US, who are willing and able to help in a disaster like this, have to even consider such options as covert air drops because of the intransigence of the Burmese military junta. At times like this, the paramount consideration should be the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the devastated population, but apparently that's not a priority for the evil regime in Rangoon.
