News – The Rev. Al Sharpton was arrested at the Brooklyn Bridge on Wednesday as he and hundreds of demonstrators blocked traffic to protest the acquittal of three detectives in the 50-bullet shooting of an unarmed black man on his wedding day.

I was there, the kid Nelson had nothing to do with the march, he lived out there and knew the family of the little boy that was trapped under a car and then died. The Jewish man that ran the red light and jump the curve and pin and kill that young boy and seriously injured his sister, had an Ambulance, a Jewish ambulance come for him,the city ambulance was late and you know what they did, they put this man in the ambulance, mind you he wasn't injured or not seriously so. And they left those two kids on the side of the streets to die. The city Ambulance took another 15 minuets to get there. Do you know before that people were not outrage, they saw it as an accident.
The community got even more angered when they were no charges brought against the driver for running a red light. The Jewish community's explanation were that he was scared of losing his caravan and ran the light. He was send back to Israel the next day. I ask you if that happen to your kid how would you feel! In the movie a time to kill the actor said to the jurors now close your eyes and imagine it was a little white kid!

Crown Heights has always been a bomb waiting to go off . Even as far back as the late seventies . I used to canvas that area . Always tension there .The Hasidics follow thier guidelines for religion and that gets the Blacks in an uproar , because the Hasidics do not show any respect for anyone outside of thier communitty . They are thier own communitty unto themselves . This what inbreeding produces .

Well , I have witnessed the area first hand . If you are not Hasidic , you are almost invisible to them . They do keep to themselves as well . It's hard to relate sometimes . So if your neighbor continuely throws water in the street that is tainted with menstruel cycle blood month after month and it is summer [ say 80-90 degrees out ] , it's gonna stink . And if you ask them to stop and they don't because they believe they are right for religious purposes and you think they are ignoring your request because they will not explain thier actions - somethings got to give .

These type of incidents are what Sharpton thrives on... if he doesn't get arrested he doesn't get the free publicity he craves...of course he is immediately released on some minimal bond and returns to his plush $1k/ a night hotel room. What a charlatan he is and what a true disaster he and his ilk (Jackson, Farrakhan) have been for the black community.
Law enforcement officers have been getting away with using excessive force on blacks and other minorities for far too long! You know good and well that 50 bullets was excessive, and that the excuse for taking that young man's life does not hold water.
Every officer that has taken advantage of their authority to commit acts of this nature, whether or not our society punishes them, will be punished by a higher authority, and they will WISH we had done it instead.
The FIRST time something like this happens to a young white male (and eventually, it will), you watch how fast the perpetrators are tried and convicted!

The Criminal Procedural Law in the State of NY allows for cops to shoot until the threat is over. 50 shots is not necessarily excessive-- especially when a 3000 lb car is bearing down on you.
Those cops will not be punished by a higher authority for what they did. But if I were you, I would pray for the soul of Sean Bell. Did he repent for the lives he ruined who he sold drugs to? When his "fiancee" and two kids needed him at home, he was at a strip club until 4 am. He wasn't much of a father either, it looks like. So yeah, pray for him.
This has already happened to a white male unarmed car thief in Queens. And his neighbors were happy because they knew he was a piece of garbage.
Unlike other "communities", most whites don't really mind when a known piece of garbage gets treated as such by the police.
But this has nothing to do about justice. It has all to do about revenge. The cops had their day in court. And now Sharpton wants a payout.
The police who were involved were white, black & Hispanic, so the claim of rascism doesn't hold water. In the words of "leaders" like Sharpton & Jackson minorities cannot be rascist. SURE.
The problem lies with the mind of the police themselves.
Their training is questionable, their mindset towards what they perceive to be the underclass is questionable, their supervision is questionable.

These cops had to make a split second decision on whether or not they were going home alive and in one piece while others just spout, well, the cops should have done this or that. But say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about what Sean Bell could have done and should have done!!

I am nor a proponent of Sharpton, and neither he nor Jackson or Louis speaks for the black community, I keep trying to tell you all the time that blacks are as individual as whites. Saying this is like saying that Hitler was a bad white leader. Al has his use he brings attention to things like this but as far as him being the leader of the black community i doubt that. You would be shocked how many blacks would tell you to go to hell if you were to say that to them.

This will happen to a white kid and we will see these same people calling for the officers head. Matter of fact it already has happen the kid shot in his car on the Highway in Queens, for cutting the officer off and then mouthing off at him.
It's human nature, if you let any group of people get away with anything for long they will eventually try to get away with it against you! Our very history tells us that. Again, incorrect. A childhood friend of mine was shot and killed by Marietta police when I was 21. He was white. No one cared. The news immediatly reported that he was wanted for questioning in a murder (conveniently leaving out the fact that it was a hispanic robbing crew that commited the murder of his roomate and was looking to kill him too which is why he was laying low in the first place) so as to make him look worse.
Bottom line is that he deserved to get shot by police. Just like Sean Bell did.

nah, I know several white kids in their late teens and early twenties that are regularly harassed by the local cops.
One cop in my town has announced to several people that he's going to get my son -- because he's got a Honda with body kits and low-pro tires and it's red and sharp looking so he can be up to no good. He's gotten him for speeding -- at a stop light, no less. Claimed he was drag racing, maybe he was, but he's only got a 4 cylinder engine!
His name was Ronald Eugene Garrett. He was shot by Marietta Police Officers Hunt and Higgens. He desvered what he got. And even though I was good friends with him I could not attend his funeral. I did however apologize to the cop he shot and for the way some of my other friends reacted. Ronnie chose his path. I tried very hard to steer him straight. He was like a brother to me and it pained me greatly when he died. Even worse was the fact that two days before he died myself and another friend of mine tracked down his father whom he had never met. They planned on meeting for the first time the following weekend.

MARIETTA, GA: Cobb County law enforcement authorities said 29-year-old Marietta police officer Michael Hunt was shot during a routine traffic stop on Friday. Hunt was shot when he and another police officer stopped a car off Powder Springs Road. One of the passengers in the car shot at the officers, striking Hunt in the leg. An unidentified suspect was shot and killed during the confrontation. The three other suspects in the car are in custody. The incident came just one day after a metro-Atlanta narcotics investigator was shot and killed.

I gave you a good too soon. If you believe that only minorities are victims of police abuse of power, you are mistaken. I will grant you that minorities are more likely to be stopped, but white folks get ground up in the system also.
To me the root of the problem, is that when there is a problem, the agency that investigates the police is the police themselves. Add this to police academy indoctrination that instructs them that they are better than everyone else and their lives are worth more than everyone else and it's okay to lie and cheat and trick suspects to get them to make a confession, and that they can do no wrong and they almost always get a skate when they DO do something wrong (when was the last time a cop was ever in the wrong in a car accident = on or off duty? When was the last time you heard of a cop -- on or off duty -- getting a speeding ticket?)and you have a recipe for a group of people who are thoroughly convinced that they are above the law.
