Ex-East Texas lawman sought in the killing of DPS Trooper. 37 year old Texas State Trooper was shot and killed. The Trooper was married and leaves behind his wife and his 5 month old daughter.

Since the shooting, there have been planes and helicopters flying over head in this area. The shooting happened about 8 miles from my place!
There are State Troopers everywhere!

I pray for the troopers family and friends. What a terrible thing to happen.

  Yes, prayers and donations are coming in for the family! The local Shriners are helping! It is rough to lose a spouse! It does get better with time!
  It was mentioned that the ex-lawman had been on drugs! Will know more later!
