"A campaign official told The Associated Press Friday that Samantha Power's resignation is effective immediately.
Power told The Scotsman that Clinton is a "monster" who will stoop to anything to win. She tried to make the remark off the record, but the Scottish newspaper printed it anyway. She apologized in a statement and the campaign decried the remark."
Hillary Clinton may indeed be a monster. But that doesn't mean she wouldn't be a fine president. In fact, her steely toughness may be what is required to extract our nation from the moral malaise and stunning ineffectiveness that has been wrought upon our nation by 7 plus years of, by any measure, the most feckless presidency in the modern era.
The only 'success' this administration can point to is padding the Office of the Presidency with additional powers while simultaneously reducing accountability and oversight to that office.
Personally, I'm not sure any incoming president can undo the horrific damage done to our national treasure and integrity. Whether it be Mr. Hopeful Obama, Mr. More of the Same McCain, or Monster Mash Hillary.
But being a monster certainly won't dissuade me from voting for Hillary should she become the Democratic nominee.
I love this country too much to elect yet another Modern Republican.
Awww man oh man whoda thunk the Dems would be self destructing like this? I do think they will eventually recover but in the meantime (7 eternal weeks of fun will be had)
