News – With a partial ban on smoking in restaurants and bars there aren't many places you can actually light a cigarette these days in Germany. Apparently even smoking at home can be rather dangerous...
Everyone's dumped on the guy and rightly so, but the woman is no prize either. I may not quit smoking if my wife asks me to but I will take the smoking outdoors and away from an inclosed space so she wouldn't have to breathe in second hand smoke.
If she hasn't kicked him out on his ear she is a fool. With actions like that there is no way to feel safe around an out of control idiot like that.
If you had bothered to read the article, you would have seen that it WAS HIS APARTMENT. That does not justify the tirade,
it merely shows his subnormal mentality.
When I was younger and definitely short tempered, I'd take out my anger out on inanimate objects rather than the person I was angry with. Especially if that person was dear to me. I've destroyed many of MY possessions in the attempt to control my anger. Luckily it never went beyond a hole in the wall or broken wrist watch and have since seen the folly of my ways. Haven't broken anything on purpose in many, many years and still haven't been divorced. Better to spray his whole apartment with a fire extinguisher than beat up his girlfriend.
an interesting story. I read an Ann Landers story years ago, the wife was a non-smoker-the husband was. She said she could not take it anymore-Ann's reply, you knew he was a smoker before you married him-live with it or else. Nicotine is an addiction & the tobacco co;s. know it. The gov't will never shut them down-jobs, SS, taxes, etc, & I believe, if people want nto smoke, that is their judgement, not anyone elses.Nuf' said
I no longer smoke, but idiots like the one in this story make me want to start up again.
I can't stand to be around the self righteous idiots who will run across a parking lot to tell a smoker who was alone when they lit up how evil they are for trying to kill others.
