An eye for an eye never works. But, in fairness to the other side--nearly a thousand Palestinians were killed by Israelis in one way or another during 2007, over 100 of them children. When you keep people imprisoned, refuse to let them live normal lives, what happens is that they lose all will to live and want to take a few of the other side with them when they go.
You need to go to www.gush-shalom.org and read what Israeli Uri Avnery writes. He and Mordechai Vanunu are my Israeli heroes.

Israel has no intention of living in harmony with the Palestinians. Or any of their other Muslim neighbors. In fact, the aim of the Israeli government and a majority of Israelis has been from day one to have all Palestinians g-o-n-e. Which is why they continue to kill Palestinian civilians--even little children, and why they have them walled up in prison, and why they humiliate and oppress them on a daily basis. Don't believe me--read Uri's articles. He's an Israeli Jew. He knows what he's talking about.

They are imprisoned behind a wall because of the suicide bombings that occurred daily during the intifida. For more than 30 years before the intifida, there was no need for a wall. Then Israel withdrew from Gaza and the rockets started being fired into Israeli cities. Fempatriot, get your facts straight. Israel owes these people nothing. If it stopped supplying them with electricity, fuel, clean water and food tomorrow then Hamas, the elected government, would have to build an infrastructure from scratch and supply the people with these needs. When Israel departed from the Gaza Strip, it left state of the art greenhouses for the Palestinians to run and use to feed themselves. Instead of the Gazans utilizing them for the good of all of Gaza, they destroyed them. If they are imprisoned and lost the will to live, it was a collective decision. Name one, just one thing that they have done for themselves. They continually bite the hand that feeds them.

Yeah, this is a two way street,alright...I'm not an 'Expert' on Israel by any means; but I've been there, and the Israelis I met were all decent folks...anyone who has paid attention to the Bush Regime knows what Israelis have known for decades: A government seldom reflects the will of its people...

> An eye for an eye never works.
This is true. In this particular case 100 eyes for an eye may work, however. Unfortunately, the Arab terrorists and their supporters are happy with those 1,000 Palestinians killed as a result of the Intifadah and they're willing it to continue. This means that the only way to end this terrorist war is to MAKE THEM UNHAPPY.

In this case, the State of Israel must be "your hero", too. In any other state these "heroes" would be tried for treason. In some countries (even in the US during a war) they would be executed.

The link was pointing to the right story at the time of submission, and the news site modified its URL later. It's probably because this was a "break news" story.
The current link to this story appears to be :

PsychoHosebeast is correct, the link does not match the story. However, my posts were not directed to the story as much as it was in response to other posts. If I were posting on the story headline, it would be prudent of me and the rest to at least read the story and in this case we would have discovered the error. Psycho makes a good point and all of us have egg on our faces.

Dimona?!! From Wikipedia...
"In the early 1980s, textile plants, such as Dimona Textiles Ltd., which at one point concentrated on manufacturing of towelling, dominated the industrial landscape. Many plants have since closed.
These factories are not to be confused with the The Dimona Centre, or Negev Nuclear Research Center, which were called "textiles factory" by David Ben-Gurion.
Dimona Silica Industries Ltd. manufactures precipitated silica and calcium carbonate fillers."

Muslims Against Sharia condemn the murderers responsible for the homicide bombing in Dimona as well as degenerate perpetuation of the culture of death in Gaza.
Our prayers are with the victims of this atrocity. We send our condolences to their loved ones.
May the homicide bomber rot in hell for eternity. May his accomplices and animals who celebrated this horrendous act join him soon!
Muslims Against Sharia call on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to shut down Al-Hayat al-Jadida, Al-Iyam and Al-Quds as terrorist mouthpieces that glorify homicide bombings. Failing to do so will show that Palestinian Authority's quest for peace is nothing more than empty words.
