Colombian Rebels Free Two Women Hostages

News – Rebels freed two hostages in the remote Colombian jungle Thursday after more than five years of captivity, handing the women over to Venezuelan officials who flew them toward Caracas, where a triumphant Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez awaited.

certainly a triumph for Hugo Chavez... think Bush will call him up and congratulate him? anyway, if anyone can talk FARC into releasing and/or not taking hostages, more power to them, i dont care WHO they are.

after all theyve endured i just hope people will laave these women alone and allopw them to enjoy the company of their families for the first time in years.

Is not a triumph of Hugo Chavez.

Is a propaganda stunt by FARC and the opportunity for Chavez to be part of the show (He is very narcissist.)

The pledge by Chavez to the international community of nations, to remove FARC from the list of terrorists is very mistaken and totally inadmissible.

If FARC has any honest political ideals should liberate hundreds and hundreds of innocent people kidnapped for no reason.
