Propeller Week In Review: December 21, 2007 »
Posted By JamesMarcus 9 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsAlthough he's previously had a low Propeller profile, it was Dennis Kucinich who claimed the spotlight this week--along with Karl Rove, the steroid scandal, unami (say it five times fast), and Adam Sandler's perennially popular Hanukkah video. Come one, come all!

STONERS, sumptuous--a happy holiday to you both, and watch out for that unami in the eggnog. It might be a dash of ketchup.

Ah James, I am disappointed. I spent quite some time chasing jewish music videos from all around the Mediterranean (Sephardic) to add to this story:
SNL: Adam Sandler's Happy Hanukkah Song! (3rd version)
http://www.propeller.com/viewstory/2007/12/21/p...
and they got no mention even though you "showcased" the story in the week!
Maybe Ladino (jewish spanish) is not as "kosher" as Yiddish?

Ladino is perfectly kosher by me, hyperbola. Sorry I couldn't squeeze those videos into the WIR, but I'm going to watch them myself. A happy holiday to you in the meantime.

Tall, deep voice, all of that 'John Wayne' appeal...
Interesting accounts of Abraham Lincoln's vocal quality, was that he had a rather whiny, nasally and often strident speaking style. No recordings were available for media. Being that he was very tall (even for our time), his stature was often exaggerated.
His ideas were big, but what won it for him was the split votes in a multi (not two party) race....and he was head and shoulders above the rest.
Hee hee hee.

Thanks for the review, James!
And special thanks for getting rid of some of the trash on Propeller. I felt very strong disgust for someone to write hate mail like that to mamasan, one of our active members.
I am sorry I missed a mention regarding my story on Snowflake Rudy! The discussion was quite lively, and some comments - like the one by cowboygrandpa - were quite interesting.
Your review always makes a good read! It capsulizes the thoughts of the community, as you see it.
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah and Joyous Kwanzaa to you and your great team!
Peace and Blessings!
