Do you think the date (Dec 7th) should be removed from the calendar?? Some really bad things seem to happen on that date.

It's still a day of infamy......... we are in deep trouble.

Tancredo seemed to know just how dangerous a problem this is for America. Sadly he dropped out today.

It is sad that the seemingly only one running that had a clue about how to handle immigration didnt have a chance.

Most of them don't want a fence, they want cheap labor and big profits! If our congressional representatives really cared about America, they would insist on the fence being finished and securing our borders! Illegals don't cross at the border checkpoints.

Voting each one out as their term comes to an end, will be the only message they will listen too!

We have been duped again! My representatives are going to hear my disdain, for ignoring the will of the people! The People spoke, when they shut down the switchboard, over amnesty for adults, whom have freely chosen to break our laws by entering the USA unlawfully.

Thanks RedRJ!

A double tier fence would be a start. Then we need tighter security, more border agents, laws to punish employers and those that come here illegally. But we all know that's not going to happy like texangelwings says, it's all about big business, greed and CHEAP LABOR. I mean look at this mess with the toys, goods made in China, that's most certainly about money there. I fault the companies for not setting up strict quality control. They don't care about anything except profit. here is a list of the toys........

So it's all about greed, the border and toys...........

Just received a e-mail that the fence reduction passed. And I am calling for all Texans to oust Kay Bailey Hutchison in the next election and to pledge not to elect her to any other government post. I vow never to let myself be fooled by this conniving back-stabbing politician again.

A fence? Really, a fence? That's what you want? Like the one that, "worked in California"? Do ya think that a fence like that would be able to keep you IN if this country became a fascist state? Let's get real: big business and people richer than you and me have lured people, most of them very hard working and honest, from foreign countries because they can exploit them, pay them much less than American citizens, and make a bigger profit, while NOT passing on the savings to us, the consumers of their products. Somehow, these anti-American employers have convinced us that the immigrants are to blame for the situation that, let's face it, is being trumped up as much more of a crisis than it should be. I sincerely believe that very few of us have been directly negatively impacted by the presence of illegals, unless of course, we really wanted to do one of those jobs that "Americans don't want to do" but couldn't because the traitorous employer wouldn't pay a fair wage.
