I was wonderring if there were any 'Global Warming Conferences' scheduled in the areas hit. A few years ago in the city I live in, one of the loacal universities had a 'Global Warming Conference' scheduled, and it was cancelled by an ice storm. Not the 'Global Warming' Bill Voted on in the Senate occurred this year when a snowstorm hit DC. Interesting.

I live about 12 miles south of Des Moines Iowa and we have a pretty solid sheet of ice on everything. I've post some pictures of it on my blog. http://richwklein.com/2007/12/11/ice-storm/

Hmmm, half a million without power in Oklahoma City and the feds send 50 generators and 3 truck loads of drinking water. Sounds like FEMA is hard at it.
