These pictures are a reminder for us to never forget the tragedy of 9/11/01.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
GOD BLESS THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES
GOD BLESS THE FIRST RESPONDERS WHO RISED THEIR LIVES TO HELP OTHERS (and have been ignored by the state, local and federal governments).
REMEMBER 9/11/01

Yes, thanks for showing us the respect that the twoof movement shows to those who died that day.

Nice post and link Truzseeker. Thanks for not forgetting, for remembering all those survivors still suffering and looking to leaders to fulfill their responsibilities to bring closure. Thanks for remembering and standing up for all these ones, and remembering that we are all Americans who can and should speak up for justice and for the neglected Americans of 911 too.

...and some days you shills should get your facts from some other source such as from the first responder victims themselves ... sad that you shills would turn this matter sour but it doesn't surprise me.

You mean ... the misquoted and cherry picked ones that the twoof movement likes to take out of context?
Can you please actually respect the people who were killed that day just for one day?

Thats right Truzseeker, its your right and your duty to stand up for the American Way, and to remember and honor those "first responder victoms themselves", the hundreds of REAL HEROES dying on 911 and still dying right now.
Don't pay these political jerks any attention, they are like the KGB and are un-American by there bulling and harrassing!!!

I remember being told about it in the morning. I did not realize the scope of what had happened until later the morning. Standing in Target with a bunch of other people, and all of us just standing there staring at the TV Screens. No one really had anything to say. It felt almost surreal.
My ex told me how she went almost the whole day without knowing what happened.

I'm a stockbroker. I remember going into work after finding out 2 planes hit the towers. Watching TV and trying to keep up with the news was truly horrific for me. I had colleagues in that building. My aunt lives blocks away from the site. It was scary. Didn't know what was going on. If more attacks were coming. If my friends were ok....if my family were ok. Then I was thinking that under a few different circumstances, I easily could have worked there. Surreal is right.
Thinking about it every year now, my anger doesn't subside.

9-11 Was An Inside Job, a covert military Psy-Op, carried out by elements of the CIA, Mossad, and MI6.
The next 9-11 here in the USA will be the final step for a total control martial law police state here in the USA , and total occupation and domination of the middle east and near east, starting with a massive air-strike campaign against Iran and Syria.

You rang, dude, and "I mean" what? Another shallow but "mean" spirited one line-er, after another? So, like I MEAN you never seem to have anything 'mean-ing-ful' to contribute here, do you? Can't you at least stay on topic, if you are NOT going to say the simplest anything that 'means' something in honor of The Real People and Families that were destroyed from 911?
RIP

I really thought that day was the end of the world .Nothing
mattered to me.I think that is just what the terrorists who did it wanted to happen,to demoralize this nation into thinking that it was all over.Maybe they thought we would just roll over and die.Its been six years since life as we knew it changed.Life is not as open and free as it it once was. But
guess what? We're still here!! We are still the United States
of America. The greatest nation in the world. We will prevail
over all adversity and continue to be free....

People die every day and it touches the lives of someone when they do. Why make a big "to do" because 3,000 people you never knew died? Frankly the US should get over it. It may have impacted people in NY but in the South its pretty much a big "so what". Most people never knew anyone killed and would never have met anyone killed so its not really as tragic as the media makes it out to be. Then again with the NY ability to be stuck on themselves and believe the world revolves around them I guess I can understand why they keep kicking a dead horse.

Or maybe because that day was an important day in history and is responsible for our current situation in iraq? How can you possibly try and play the get over it card in this situation? Nobody here is crying and still in shock, were just paying respect to the 3000 people died that day. Just because your an emotionless prick doesnt mean everyone else is.

Oh... I'm not emotionless... I'm mad as hell that my tax dollars have gone to make the realtives instant millionaires... I'm mad as hell that my tax dollars have gone to build umpteen different memorials all over the place... And wake up clueless, Iraq isn't a result of 9/11. Iraq was the result of Democrats going back as far as Carter being wimps in the middle east and letting a bunch of cultist run the area.

Thank God for the internet, imagine if we only had the pro-war propaganda put forth by the corporate controlled media.

There is really only two possibilities , either our government is guilty of involvement on 9-11 or they just what to appear guilty.
Those that are unwilling to investigate the real mass murderers of 9-11 are only supporting the terrorists and the terror wars America brings to the world.

I don't get it Knothead, even today osama ben douchebag was bragging about his attacks on 9/11, yet some people are so desperate for attention that they honestly believe their own government did this. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

Jerryskid, How long did it take to catch one of our own citizens on the run here in our own country after he bombed the 1996 Olympic games? Nearly ten years! And we even knew the general area he was hiding in. He kept escaping our government because he knew the rough mountain terrain better than we did.
With that said, Osama knows the region he lives in much better than we do. The terrain is also much worse than that of N Carolina.
Osama has not slipped through our fingers, he will be caught. It's just a matter of when.

Remember the controlled implosions of the towers and how the govt rigged it to go off and blame some 'terrorists' to start this insane war, making up stuff like WMD that were never found and never existed...
Or, as former Israeli prime minister said:
On the day of the 9-11 attacks, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was asked what the attacks would mean for US-Israeli relations. His quick reply was: "It's very goodâ;¦â;¦.Well, it's not good, but it will generate immediate sympathy (for Israel)"

There was an amazing show on the History channel today that really tore apart the conspiracy theories. There is not one single theory that could hold any water. Yet people have so much hatred for Republicans that they refuse to admit the facts.
I ask them this, who was responsible for the 93 attacks? The two embassy's in Africa? The Khobar towers? The USS COLE? All were pre-Bush attacks, so was he responsible then too?

I think we can all agree that there is a large percentage of the population that have some doubt in the truth of the 9-11 commission report. One need look no further than the internet to confirm this. Perhaps a new independent investagation of 9-11 would either put to rest all the alternative theories or at least enlighten us to what really happened that terrible day. I can't imagine anyone fearing an investagation except those who may be guilty.

Well, go ahead then, do your own investigation. I mean I'm sure you wont mind funding Jones right?
Out of your own personal pocket?
I think what we can agree is that the twoof movement is a small little one of vocal internet fools that no one really cares what they say.
Perhaps you should learn to be respectful for one day.
Regardless of who you think killed who.

Thats the problem!!!!
We SAW the video of the towers coming down from WITHIN the building themselves, their was no secondary explosions.
You want to believe this govt. did it because it justifies your position.
It is you, that does not want to know the truth.

I have a son over in Iraq who is proud to serve his country. We may not agree with war, but have not forgotten why we are there, 9/11/2001. And as for your other comment, my parents and many of my relatives are from the "Deep South" and do not have a "so what" attitude about 9/11. Shame on you eviln3d, you do not deserve to claim you are from the South. Or anywhere else for that matter. I hope you never have to feel the pain of losing a loved one senselessly. I have, and the pain is relentless. It is quite obvious, just by your name, that you are not Christian, or of any religious affiliation. May God have mercy on your, and other selfish cruel people like you, souls. You will need it. I will sign this a "Person with compassion".

Well expressed.
My condolences to any and all who are surviving a lost, as well as to those outside looking in, but are human enough (not dominantly mean and callus) to try to understand the pain of lost and bereavement. Peace.

JamesMarcus, thanks for the commemorative article. The tragedies of that day continue to reverberate down through the years...as well they should.
To the inside job conspiradroids, get over it. Quote mining, pseudoscience, and paranoia might fool some people...but reality always catches up in the end.

The biggest danger rescue workers faced was exposure to asbestos and benzene (jet fuel). Unfortunately we are going to see many more casualties from toxic exposure. I can still remember Rudy Gulliani telling everyone it was safe to return to the area. Some rescue workers spent over 500 hours at ground zero. It's an outrage to let our finest die while they were doing their job. Where were the respirators?
