He's making a mistake. He should just resign and be done with it.

As a democrat I want him to stay.

Let republicans see, they chances of relecting closet homo and weep.

Thats some brilliant commentary.

Its my understandin that in the general population - roughly 10% of Americans are homosexual.

Its also my understandin that this percentage holds fast weather you is a democreep or a Republicon.

And you caint never tell ifn one is a homosexual cause they dont wear a badge or nuthin.

Unless they 'come-out' the only way to tell is ifn they make a major issue of fightin against homosexuality.

Thats usuually a sign they is homoosexual.

And the louder they makes the issue a persoanl crusade - the more liekly they is gay.

This has been proved time and time again.

Agreed.

Wrong. It's the result of extrapolated data because it's impossible for us to ask every single person in the world if they're gay or not. And if recent events have been any indication, even if we could survey every single person in the world, it seems like many of them would be untruthful.

10% is high... UNLESS you are including BISEXUALS, also. Note that Craig denied being GAY, but never having same-sex experiences or desires. He NEVER denied being bisexual, which according to some body-language experts analyzing his recent 'non-gay' proclamation speeches, Senator Craig probably is. Sadly, however, he misrepresents bisexual (married) men as perverts hanging out in mens' rooms. We bisexuals prefer not be represented in such disgusting manner... as we Republicans also abhor his alleged reprehensible actions, whether true or not.

On Oprah, they had a 'down-low' topic that reported that at least 40% of married 'straight' men have same-sex contact to some degree DURING their marriage... and most sexual behavioral experts say the numbers could be as high as two-thirds. Evidently, there are very few 100% straight people - or for that matter, 100% gay people... amongst men/women in their peak sexually active years the numbers are in the single-digit percentile.

You know, considering how carefully Senator Widestance has parsed the word "intend," I think you may really be on to something here. It could very well be that he believes that, if he's bi, he is therefore being perfectly truthful in proclaiming "I am not gay." On the other hand, in a May 2007 interview with the Idaho Statesman newspaper, he pretty much categorically denied ever having sex with men...

Is a wide stance some other 'code' I've neva heard of like the foot tapping?

avatar
Reply

Probably in the same "code" as "toe-touching" or "pillow-biting".

Sen. Craig's explanation for his foot contacting the officer's foot was that he has a "wide stance" when using the loo. Frankly, I think that this is one of 2007's most hilarious contributions to the public vocabulary.

I swear I am not making this up--see the Idaho Statesman story linked above.

The 10% number has long-since been discredited. It's more like 1%.

You can refer joe 'im-fixated-on-my-abs' sixpack to my comment above.

I tried to verify that question once before, I thought it would clear up a lot of things but his posts usually smack of closet homo.

Global, you'd better stop insulting decent, respectable gay people like that. I can't think of any gay folks who'd want to be associated with Joey One-Note...nor many straights, for that matter.

"Most people don't want to be gay."

Including Joe sixpack. He curses his fate.

it's not about "wanting to be gay".

Dumbass, CLOSETED gay or bisexual men do this! If one is out and comfortable in his sexuality, there really is no need to lurk in the shadows....

Arlen and Larry sitting in the rows

of mensroom stalls tapping their toes

Larry says, "Arlen I got busted can you give me a hand?"

Arlen say, "Larry, sure! Why don't you stand?"

Says Larry, "Arlen, I don't mean like that right now,

I need you to save my seat, so show me how!"

"I'll help you save your seat, Larry!", Arlen responds

"But then I'll own it, and not only in these johns!"

"Sure, Arlen!", agrees Larry, "I can't let this be what wrecks us,

and if you help I won't tell what we did in your Lexus!"

"Whoa!" replies Arlen, "you wouldn't talk about that, Larry!"

"Well, maybe," Larry giggled, "unless McConnell gets too scary!"

"Uh oh," sputtered Arlen, "if you're really going to squeal,

I guess you could say you've got yourself a deal!"

But he was there because of complaints of that airport bathroom.

Cops "look" for speeders. Cops "look" for drug traffickers. Cops "look" for solicitation. He was just doing his job and I don't fault him [And I write this as a gay man ...a gay man who is secure enough in his own sexuality to NOT cruise in public restrooms (Why in the world would I NEED to? That is the world of the closet...and I tore down that door almost 25 years ago!).].

Sadly, Senator Craig is much older than I, and he is still trying to stay in his own closet! So sad....

He should leave office

If the people of his district in Idaho voted him in office, one would think it is those same people that have a say in whether his conduct warrants leaving office...

that's true they have a say if he decides to try and stay in office,,,, on the other hand there has to be some line that politicians won't cross and still think they need to stick around in office. IMO a scandal such as the one he is involved with is a good example.
