if this story was about a soldier who attacked a civilian this would have been front and center non-stop headlines in the dinosaur media

Yeah, whatever, sure it would. So where was Fox on this if it's such a rage-inspiring story? The story is more than a week old.
I think the media is pretty good at weeding out non-stories, regardless of which side of the political spectrum it falls... unfortunately, some nazicons are so paranoid and delusional about their failing movement, they are unable to do the same.
