Smoking in public parks, cemeteries and near mass gatherings is now against the law in St. George. During its regular meeting on Thursday, the St. George City Council unanimously approved an ordinance that would make it illegal to smoke on any public land owned by the city that is used for recreational purposes.

What a stupid Law.They could have just as easily used the money for all those signs towards a program that gives free stop smoking aids to people in the community that want to quit like they do in New York. Treat the cause not the symptoms.
