At CES the Adult Film Industry said they were heading for HD DVD anyway:

Once again we see big a huge corp attempting to dictate it's own morals on the rest of us...I betcha if someone snooped under the bed of these so called do gooders we would find copies of Debbie Does Dallas or something to that effect.

I may not be a porn consumer but I'm a capitalist and a believer in personal rights & freedoms .
Freedom of speach knows no restriction of media format.
If their selling or exposing the technology to the consumer market it will happen sooner or later. Most likely duplicated by the chinese soon.
Perhaps it will go the way of Betamax anyway.

Throw out your PS3 Boycott Blu-Ray
Do not let Japan electronicly impose it's moral values on American Media. Create this products obsolessence rather than letting Sony plan it. We are tired of the dictates that capitalism allows. We've defeated Japan on the war front. It is now time to show them that it is demand and not supply that rules capitalist markets. Those who abuse power will always fail.
