Jan. 9, 2007, 7:57 p.m.The article said when he was notified by the bank of the problem he opened another account and resumed paying for the storage. If the storage company accepted these payments and did not notify him of their action thats fraud. Try going to the local prosecutors office and make a complaint.

Jan. 10, 2007, 2:08 p.m.It is dispicable what this storage company did especially if he mentioned that he was going on a one year tour! First, the company never notified him of the bounced checks after "someone" depleted his funds. He finds out from his back and starts a new account then resumes payment. Secondly the company auctions of his wordly possessions again without notification. This article should be made an example of how corpoate greed overrides patriotism.
Locals of St. Louis give this (literal) poor kid (now a man) some help. Help him get representation, make a stink for him. Show some patriotism for the guys that make the ultimate sacrifice. $2500.00 is no compensation for what he has lost. What a lowsy homecoming!!
