Men in these prisons are caught, taken in an instant, not told anything, and call no one. They aren't charged, they are beaten and tortured for as long as it takes for someone to finally decide there will be no charges because they are guilty of nothing. What would that do to your life? I have serious problems with the military investigating itself. This thinking reminds me of Israel's tactics of being caught doing something wrong, and when forced to confront the issue, they always claim to investigate themselves and always, always, find someone else to blame it on, or simply deny the event. Eventually, this practice will wear thin and anger the accusers until an aggitated reaction to non-action occurs.
