July 24, 2006, 5:31 p.m.Is there widespread doubt the 911 Comission did a thorough job? I certainly hadn't heard that except from among those who are deep into conspiracy theories. I think the 9/11 Comission did a good job and we likely know as much as we ever will.

Almost every year the clintons were in office there was a terrorist attack and GW although misguided did what he thought was best. Hindsight is 20/20.

I also have structural drawings of the towers. Something does not add up and I hope this new push for the truth is successful....

The events of 9/11/2001 were thoroughly investigated by a special, bi-partisan commission, which had subpeona power and access to every government record and to the testimony of the leading experts in every field. Additional (and independent) investigations were conducted by committees in BOTH houses of congress, as well as by the FBI, CIA, NSA, and local, state and federal prosecutors.
Millions of pages of testimony and evidence has been published, and every investigator reached exactly the same conclusion. Nineteen political activists piloted 2 airliners into the twin towers and another into the Pentagon, while a fourth airliner crashed in Pennsylvania.
Ther is no possible way that the administration could have orchestrated a cover-up which included so many of their bitterest political opponents. "911truth.org" is a fraud, seeking to mislead the American people for its own political purposes.
These people make me sick.

The Cover-Up Commission didn't even bother mentioning Building 7! How do you explain that?

July 24, 2006, 6:10 p.m.I will trust my surrogates in this matter, those brave souls who fought their cowardly captors on Flight 93. Several of them made calls to loved ones prior to chosing death before dishonor, and their descriptions are the only first-hand accounts remaining of the incident. Since their information coincides with the investigation already competed, I will lend it credence as well.
I don't care how the Oliver Stones and the other looneytunes spend their time and money, but I would be against spending any further time in Congress on this matter. The last thing those miscreants need is another reason to avoid doing their jobs.
Theories like this will always find some traction in the mud slicks that pass for brains of a few poor idiots, and then some evil person will capitalize on it to further their agenda and milk it for all it's worth. But hey, one of the best things about this country is that everyone is free to believe tripe like this. Too bad for those who lost loved ones though.

This controlled demolition theory - any motives, means?
How would they be able to keep this quiet when they can't stop leaks about NSA wiretaps, or the banks tracking of terrorist monies?
And if the govt is behind the WTC bombings, did they also do it earlier when the blind ****** and his crew tried to blowing them up from the garages underground?
And of course the USS Cole, the African Embassy bombings, the Somalia blackhawk helicopters, the Kobar (sp?) towers, the Munich Olympics, etc.
And the shoe bomber and Moussoui are really undercover Feds, right?
Actually, you could tie this up really nice and have them be the JFK shooters, too.

William Rodriguez, a man who worked in the towers for over 20 years felt an explosion BELOW HIM directly before the first plane hit, he was in the sub-basement. Immediatly folowed by an encounter with a co-worker who was severely injured, also in the sub basement! If there wasn't an explosion in some of the lower sub-basements, explain how this man's skin was hanging off of his body if the plane hit towards the top of the buildings?

I have reviewed the Loose change and other conspiracy theories and they are laughable. Windows burst out when a building collapses. This is from air overpressure as the volume decreases inside the collapsing structure. That would explain the 'explosions' seen on the tapes. These are tempered glass windows popping out. The authors of loose change alledge that burning buildings don't collapse. They do all the time. The Steel does not need to melt for the building to collapse it just needs to reach annealing temperature to lose much of its structural strength. Annealing temp is ~900 deg F. Steel is hardened by tempering- the steel is heated to 1200 deg F and quenched this is what is done to the rebar used in floors and to the steel in the trusses in the building. Any fool who has been up on an observation deck knows that up a couple hundred feet are high winds. Mix that with tons of kerosene and blown out windows and you have a recipe for Steel building collapse.

July 24, 2006, 6:36 p.m.I dont claim to be an expert in this area but I just have some thoughts and Q's for you Tap. If the man is indeed in the sub-basement, exactly how does he know when the plane hits the tower? Seems very unlikely he would see it from a window seeing as how basements usually are under ground. Also is it not possible that the plane's impact created a large vibration force in the structure that traveled along the steel beams into lets say the sub basement where i would assume many machines and pipes might be located therefore leading to possible malfunctions and significant damage. Lets also say that 40 some stories up this explosion might be hard to hear from underground unless these vibrations in the steel beams carried it down down down until they connected to the floor Mr. Rodriguez was standing on therefore providing a indication to an explosion beneath him? While I do not doubt this man's honesty, I do have concerns over how many buildings he has been in that suffered a similiar fate.
